Entebbe International Airport
Early in the morning, you depart from Kampala or Entebbe and begin your scenic journey to southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you pass through rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Meanwhile, your professional safari guide shares insights about Uganda’s culture and landscapes. Afterwards, you stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a brief refreshment break. Then, you continue toward the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
Later in the afternoon, you arrive at your lodge near the park. You check in, relax, and enjoy the surrounding forest atmosphere. Meanwhile, you receive a briefing about the next day’s gorilla trekking experience. In the evening, you enjoy a warm dinner and settle in for the night.

After an early breakfast, you head to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. Soon after, experienced rangers lead you into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
During the trek, you walk through thick vegetation, bamboo zones, and rugged terrain. Eventually, you encounter the gorillas in their natural habitat. You then spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, groom, and interact. This moment is both emotional and unforgettable.
Afterwards, you return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you visit the Batwa community. Very early in the morning, you embark on a game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kob, and various antelope species. You also enjoy excellent birdwatching opportunities. Afterwards, you return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
In the afternoon, you take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You view large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and numerous water birds. This cruise offers outstanding photography opportunities.
