Full Itinerary - 5-Day Gorilla and Game-viewing Uganda Tour

Day 1:Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, you depart from Kampala or Entebbe and begin your scenic journey to southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you pass through rolling hills, tea plantations, and traditional villages. Meanwhile, your professional safari guide shares insights about Uganda’s culture and landscapes. Afterwards, you stop at the Equator crossing for photos and a brief refreshment break. Then, you continue toward the famous Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to almost half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

5-Day Gorilla and Chimpanzee Trekking Uganda Safari

After an early breakfast, you head to the park headquarters for registration and briefing. Soon after, experienced rangers lead you into the dense forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

During the trek, you walk through thick vegetation, bamboo zones, and rugged terrain. Eventually, you encounter the gorillas in their natural habitat. You then spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, groom, and interact. This moment is both emotional and unforgettable.

Afterwards, you return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, you visit the Batwa community. You learn about their traditional forest lifestyle, medicinal plants, hunting techniques, and cultural dances. This experience supports community conservation and cultural preservation. In the evening, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
